The Challenge

Texadia was chosen as the design-build firm to provide a turn-key AVL system for their newly completed corporate event space. Located on the company’s 400+ acre Texas Ranch, this new facility will host major corporate events ranging from company all-hands meetings to customer appreciation events, and the occasional live music concert for the company’s private events.

The Solution

The video system consists of Crestron’s DM32x32 Matrix Switching allowing the user to easily distribute video throughout the facility. The primary display technology in the main hall features two (2) 20,000 lumen, 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser projectors by Panasonic. Each of these projectors are displayed on two massive, 331″ diagonal fixed-frame projection screens by Draper. Additionally, Panasonic’s AW-HE130 professional PTZ cameras are wall-mounted, providing full coverage of the stage platform and audience. These cameras are designed to be used for video conferencing, streaming events to the web, recording, and iMAG support during large events.

The audio system consists of a total of Ten (10) RCF HL2260 Horn Loaded 2-way arrays configured as left and right main clusters flanking the stage with support of left and right delay clusters located approximately 80 feet back. The stage was designed to house Four (4) of RCF’s High Output SUB8006AS subwoofers, each fitted with RCF HDL6A self-powered line array cabinets to fill the first couple of rows. A fully loaded Biamp Tesira Server was used for signal processing, routing, and automation of the sound system. LabGruppen’s FP-Series amplifiers were selected to provide over 18,000 watts of audio to the main and delay clusters. A constant-voltage distributed audio system was also installed to provide background music throughout the restaurant, bar, and outdoor areas. For large event support, a Midas PRO-2 digital mixing console was chosen for front of house. This new audio system is capable of providing a concert-level experience to the listeners, with even coverage, with very few unwanted reflections, and smooth frequency response across the listening plane.

Texadia partnered with Xtreme Structures and Fabrication to design and fabricate a custom lighting truss system to support twenty-four (24) LED-based stage lighting fixtures by Chauvet Professional. This lighting system was installed to light the stage platform for both live production and video streaming events. In addition to the stage lighting, Texadia designed and installed an LED-based architectural lighting system utilizing LumaStream’s High-Lumen Commercial LED fixtures and driver products.
