Efficient Dallas Conference Room Automation

HEDK, a Dallas-based architecture firm, brought in Texadia Systems to solve a problem that was undermining their main conference room: daylight pouring through the room's windows was washing out the image from the existing projector, making it unreliable for internal reviews and client presentations alike.

Rather than replace the projector like-for-like, Texadia's recommendation was to go above and beyond what HEDK had asked for and move the room off projection entirely. A ViewSonic video wall was installed in its place — a technology built to compete with ambient light rather than lose to it, solving the core problem for good.

Along with the video wall, Texadia built out the room's technology and control solution: QSC controller handles control and DSP audio processing, while Crestron automates video switching in the main room. Shure microphones complete the main room's audio pickup. Texadia also upgraded video conferencing across additional rooms with Logitech Rally Plus systems, extending the improvements well beyond the flagship space.

Because HEDK is a design-driven firm, the details mattered as much as the performance. Texadia worked closely with the HEDK team on the room's aesthetic touches, microphone placement and other visual elements to make sure everything matched the room's motif and met a standard HEDK, as architects, would hold any design to.

When a leading financial institution in Dallas/Ft. Worth expanded its office with a new floor, they knew they would need new AV technology. But after evaluating their existing systems, they realized it may not be as simple as adding on new tech.

The problem? Their previous technology stack was anything but simple. Frequent reboots, inconsistent room experiences, and disjointed systems created barriers to productivity, and eroded their confidence in the technology.

That’s where Texadia Systems stepped in with a plan: simplify, standardize, and stabilize. 

Texadia started this 7 plus year partnership with conference rooms and helping the client streamline video conferencing and technology for their meeting spaces.  Since inception, we have created amazing and unique spaces, auditoriums, network operations centers (NOC), specialty areas, as well as, standardization of conference and training rooms.  

We design, build and service the client daily.  Our standardization and SLA's improve utilization, reduce helpdesk calls and makes the experience simple for doctors, executives, and daily end users requiring technology to be accessible on a moments notice.  

We service and maintain 2 main campuses and 15 buildings for this client, as well as other healthcare clients across DFW.  

Texadia, alongside Benson Hlavaty Architects, was chosen to design-build Eagle Materials’ new corporate headquarters.

The design-build project includes 10 conference rooms ranging from small to large. The conference room control systems utilize interactive displays and have room scheduling panels. Additionally, the Executive Boardroom has a projection screen. Texadia installed digital signage throughout the office space, sound masking, and cell boosters (DAS Systems). Furthermore, Texadia installed all structured cabling.

This fully automated, user-friendly interface saves time, reduces meeting set up times, minimizes service calls, and is easy to use.

BNSF engaged Texadia to assist with the relocation of 44,900 square foot facility from infrastructure cabling to finish out of AV and technology solutions.  

We incorporated Crestron Air Media for wireless presentation made simple and easy.  Newline's 98" collaboration displays enhanced presentation and teamwork during meetings.  Audio and Video for over 15 different room locations from, executive boardroom, to training rooms, to standard and huddle conference spaces, to open use spaces, ie, lobby, game room and breakroom.  Plus digital media player to send media over the IP distribution system and content for digital signage.
