Ashley Underhill

This month, we’re proud to highlight Ashley—our Electrical and Prewire Operations leader—whose work ethic, can-do attitude, and leadership continue to raise the bar across residential projects. Her journey into the AV and technology space was fueled by a passion for how innovation can transform spaces and shape the way people live and interact with their environments. “It’s a field where practicality meets creativity—and every project is a chance to make an impact,” she shares.

Ashley thrives on high-end residential builds, especially during the trim-out phase, where her attention to detail brings months of planning to life. She’s known for creating clean, thoughtful infrastructures that not only meet today’s needs but are ready for whatever’s next. She also excels at building trust—both with internal teams and with homeowners who rely on her to guide them through complex systems. One client, burned by poor electrical work on a previous project, found renewed confidence in the way Ashley and her team walked them through each step—turning skepticism into satisfaction.

Her recent awarded scholarship for the NSCA Leadership Training Program reflects her dedication to growth. The experience sharpened her leadership skills and gave her the tools to better motivate teams and streamline operations—benefiting not just her department, but the company as a whole.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys time with her grandkids, cooking (creating new and fun recipes), and unwinding around a grill or in the kitchen. “I like making meals that turn into memories.” Her favorite book recommendation? The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck* by Mark Manson—a guide that’s helped her focus on what truly matters and let go of the noise.

A fun fact? She grew up riding wagons on weekly countryside trail rides, an experience that taught her early on the value of community, hard work, and simplicity. And if she had a superpower? She’d download the brains of everyone around her—becoming an unstoppable, walking encyclopedia of every project detail.

Ashley leads with clarity, heart, and a solid drive to do things right. As she puts it best: “You didn’t come this far to only come this far.”
