Landon Staats

This month, we're spotlighting an employee who brings a storyteller’s mindset to everything he touches—using technology, lighting, and audio- visual systems to create meaningful, personalized experiences. Drawn to the industry by the creative potential of integrating multiple technologies, Landon thrives on complex projects where AV, lighting, and shading come together to tell a client’s story in a space.

His favorite types of jobs? High-end, with multiple service offerings and projects over $100K, where different technologies are blended seamlessly. “I love the ‘aha’ moment,” he says, “when a client realizes how intuitive and customized their system really is.” One memorable client, Meg L., was overwhelmed with a major move—she was so appreciative of Landon’s patience and ability to tailor her system to her specific needs that she became one of our biggest advocates.

With a foundation built on experience and continuous learning, Landon has completed both the HTSA Project Management and Sales courses, and brings two years of hands-on project management to every job—ensuring our clients not only get what they asked for but walk away with more than they expected. As one client, Michael F., shared: “They did a great job. Everyone was respectful, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable.”

Outside of work, he’s training for a marathon in 2026. Landon also enjoys golfing, fishing, working out, pickleball, and foodie adventures. His dream destination? Japan—for its deep- rooted respectful culture and incredible cuisine.

His personal philosophy is based on reciprocity: “If someone does something for you, you feel compelled to return the favor.” This mindset drives him to deliver thoughtful, responsive service to clients and teammates alike. His wish for a superpower of “super speed” (if we all only had that!)—would help him complete the many meticulous details required faster in his every busy day life of AV Project Management.
