This month, we’re honored to spotlight Ronnie—a veteran of the AV industry whose career spans almost five decades and whose passion for technology and people still shines just as bright. What first drew him in? The tech, the fast-paced environment, and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients. What’s kept him here? The same. “Even after almost 50 years,” Ronnie says, “I still love what I do.”
Ronnie is most at home working on corporate office projects, where the mix of personalities, needs, and technologies creates a new challenge every day. He thrives on building relationships—both with clients and internal teams—and finds joy in the personal side of the process. One unforgettable example? A client recovering from knee surgery needed help with a Plano office project. Ronnie met him in his hospital room, then followed up with a visit to the client’s home to finalize system details. “I’d never done anything like that before or since,” he says. “But it was worth it to make it work for them.”
A true relationship-builder, Ronnie recently helped bring in a large AV project through the trust he’s earned over years in the industry. That kind of legacy is rare—and so is his story. A fun fact? Ronnie was present at the original signing that brought the Dallas Mavericks to town—and was one of the few who saw the Mavs logo before it was ever made public.
When asked what superpower he’d choose, he said: “To read clients’ minds and know exactly how much they want to spend.” (Wouldn’t we all love that one?) Outside of work, he stays grounded by focusing on what matters most: family, grandkids, church, and sports.
Ronnie’s favorite quote is simple but powerful: “Treat every coworker like I would like to be treated—with respect, even if you don’t agree with them.” That belief, lived out day after day, has made him not only respected but truly admired.
Ronnie’s legacy is built on trust, heart, and a deep love for this industry—and we’re grateful to have him continue to set the bar for what it means to serve with excellence.
