Scott Heaney

VP of Operations – Commercial

This month, we’re proud to spotlight a true leader within Texadia, Scott Heaney, VP of Operations – Commercial, whose journey into AV began with a passion for emerging technology and a knack for being the go-to “home theater guy” for friends and family. That passion sparked a career shift from IT to founding his own AV company—and eventually leading major initiatives at Texadia.

He thrives on complex projects that integrate AV, lighting, control, automation, and security, always aiming to deliver seamless solutions that leave clients amazed. From resolving long-standing issues in just one visit to spearheading Texadia’s new electrical division, his work continues to elevate our service and capabilities.

Outside of work, he’s known for his bad A$$ BBQ skills—having fed 70 team members many times with his legendary brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and sausage. He is also proud to be called “Pop-Pop” to three grandkids (with a fourth on the way!). When asked what inspires him, he shared his favorite quote from Steve Jobs: “The only way to do great work
is to love what you do.”

His team talks highly of him and describes him as….. “Scott sets us up for success. He is a great leader who's always there for the team. He just gets it. His desire is to help not just the company grow, but individual employees and departments too. He sets THE BAR and instills a mindset of quality in all of us.” He honors the company's core values and drives his team to do the same.
