Elevate Your Hotel’s Experience with Distributed Audio

From the Bar to the Hallways, Control Music In Every Area

When someone visits Dallas for the first time, which hotel will they choose to book? To land a place on “Top Hotel” lists, hotels need to create an inspiring ambiance that has guests wanting to stay at the pool, bar, or restaurant rather than leave for the night.

Many factors influence a hotel’s atmosphere: the decorations, the lighting, and the hospitality. But one component that cannot be overlooked is audio. If you want guests to relax and feel at home, a silent lobby won’t help. Whether your hotel’s personality is suited to 1920s jazz or modern indie rock, the music that plays through your hotel can transform the experience for your visitors.

With a distributed speaker system, you can control hotel audio across the building (and outdoors, too) from the same interface. Read on to learn how distributed audio works and can help your Texas hotel!

How We Build Hotel Audio Systems

To design and install a distributed audio system, we’ll wire each room’s loudspeakers to the same Crestron smart controller and amplifiers. By wiring the speakers, you won’t have to worry about unreliable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections and can trust that every time you choose a playlist to stream, the system responds.

Outdoors, we can install weatherproof, high-end speakers built to endure the elements. Speakers can either be installed along the building’s exterior or trenched into the landscaping with bollard or satellite speakers peeking out from around plants and bushes.

Your Control Options

Once we’ve integrated audio devices into the Crestron smart system, your hotel staff can access every speaker via smartphones, tablets, remotes, wall control panels, or even customized wall buttons. Then, on the same interface, you’ll control individual rooms and speakers, adjusting the volume for each. Or you can group audio zones across the hotel so that the pool and bar play the same music simultaneously.

Want to set the mood for the night? With the same Crestron system you use to control audio, you can adjust the lighting, shading, AC, and more. You can even save scenes like “Night” that automatically turn on every evening, playing your curated nighttime hotel playlist.

Interior Design with Hidden Audio

Unsure where you’ll put speakers in every room? Bring high-fidelity audio to your hotel with less clutter by installing in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. They’ll seamlessly blend into the interior behind flat, paintable grilles. The clean appearance will let you focus on your hotel’s interior design without worrying about making room for the audio system.
