How Service Plans Benefit the Smart Homeowner

As technology advances, smart home automation has become increasingly popular among homeowners in the Southlake, TX, area. A smart home can offer convenience, comfort, and security with access to all the home’s devices from one central location.

But however sophisticated a smart home may be, technology can always have unpredictable hiccups. And should a homeowner want to make any changes or upgrades to their smart system, that’s where after-sale services and support come in.

In this blog, we'll explore why after-sale services are beneficial for home automation installations and what these service plans typically entail. If you’re ready to discuss your smart home plan, contact Texadia Systems here!

Why Use a Service Plan?

Troubleshooting

Even the most well-designed and advanced smart home systems can run into issues after installation. If your devices are taking too long to respond, or if the network is down, our support team will be there to help troubleshoot and resolve any network and system interruptions. That way, you can quickly use and enjoy your home system again without any problems.

Ongoing Education

A home automation system is often a significant investment for homeowners, and they want to make sure they are using it to its full potential. After-sale services can provide education and training to help homeowners fully understand and utilize the capabilities of their new smart home system. This can include onsite training, user manuals, and online support resources.

For example, let’s say you want to create a specific automation for when you leave the house but aren’t sure how. Our team will be there to assist you and program the new automation setting for you.

Upgrades & Changes

Smart home technology is constantly evolving, and new features and updates are regularly released. After-sale services can provide ongoing support to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technology and ensure your system is running efficiently. This includes regular maintenance, software updates, and access to new features.

If, in a few years, you install a hot tub and want to integrate water controls, we can help you do that. Service plans allow you to start small and expand over the years, adding new home devices as you please.

Our Home Automation Service Plans

After-sale services vary from one provider to another. At Texadia Systems, we offer three tiers of support plans to our customers. These plans include:

  1. Standard Support: Next-available appointments, phone support Monday through Friday, remote monitoring and support, three-way support calls with network providers, and standard onsite service rates.
  2. Advanced Support: Service calls move to the front of the queue, one annual preventative maintenance visit, warranty phone support, one-hour programming modifications, and a discounted rate for onsite visits.
  3. Concierge Support: Top priority service calls, phone support seven days a week, two annual preventative maintenance visits, four hours of programming maintenance, and complimentary onsite support.

Ongoing services help you get the best experience from your smart home system. If anything should go wrong, you’ll have someone to call for help and guidance. And who will that be?
