Have you ever struggled to get your audiovisual equipment to work right before a big event or important meeting - only to find that you need to replace a part or that the new part you need doesn’t work with the system you currently have?

It’s a new year, which means resolutions are a top priority. Many people have vowed to lose weight, exercise more or get healthier, leading to a surge in new gym memberships.

What better time to evaluate your fitness center’s AV equipment?

Technology is constantly changing, so it can be difficult to keep up with all of the latest gadgets and gizmos available. In an effort to help you catch up, here are three of the top audiovisual trends this year that we’re most excited about:

Football season is upon us, which means millions of fans will funnel into 31 different NFL stadiums for the next several months.

For some fans, there’s nothing quiet like sitting on a hard bleacher, chugging their beverage of choice and cheering for their favorite team with thousands of other diehards. However, some NFL fans are looking for a more “plugged in” experience.

At Texadia Systems, we strive to use only the best AV equipment available. As a way to show how we do that, we’ve started highlighting some of our biggest and best AV partners, starting last month with Biamp.

The second partner we’d like to introduce you to is SVSi Networked Solutions.

Are you looking for a new TV that gives you a cinema-like experience in your own home? What about a digital display that really wow’s your customers?

If so, look no further than the new 65-inch Wallpaper OLED TV made by LG. This new 65-inch OLED TV has won numerous awards, including Engadget Best of the Best and Engadget Best TV Product at CES 2017.

Wireless technology has been part of our everyday lives for years now with innovations like Netflix, Hulu and Apple TV, but it’s been slower to move into the business world.

However, the demand for wireless systems has grown with the implementation of BYOD (bring your own device) for presentations and business meetings.

Commercial AV technology changes rapidly and so do collaboration tools. Having the right, easy to use, meeting collaboration tools at your fingertips is very important to your business. That said, Texadia Systems has many great solutions to offer.

One of these is Newline’s TRUTouch X Series...

If you walk into a business meeting and the guy in charge of AV comes in pushing a cart with an oversized and outdated overhead projector, you’ll probably want to turn and walk back out (as you should).

A company’s approach to technology and innovation is a huge part of their overall image.

The appearance of your conference room and the AV capabilities it has are what will either draw people in or make them run to the next competitor.

In today’s society, it’s important for classrooms to be connected to the online world in order for students to benefit from learning opportunities available outside of a textbook. Teachers also benefit greatly because they have endless resources at their fingertips.

Whether you’re building a home and would like to include a media room or you’re thinking about remodeling an existing space, there are a lot of aspects to consider.

Media rooms are no longer just a place to sit back and watch TV. Nowadays, there are many other points of interest like gaming, surfing the internet, video chatting, and even connecting to your home’s security system to consider.

The world and everything in it is ever-changing, but technology arguably changes faster than ever. Even if you’re a tech guru or an AV professional, it can be difficult to keep up with the rate of change. Popular technology from 20 years ago is most likely obsolete at this point (VCR, anyone?).

So, if you’re feeling lost in the whirlwind, here are four popular AV trends that you will be seeing a lot more of in the coming year.

At Texadia Systems, we choose to partner with the best AV equipment providers and manufacturers in the industry for both commercial and residential AV solutions. Today, we’ll be highlighting one of our partners: Shure Microphones.

Shure Microphones has been in the microphone business since 1925 and they provide a variety of products and services related to audio technology, including ceiling mics for audio and visual conferencing systems.

Here at Texadia Systems, we partner with only the best AV equipment manufacturers to bring you the highest quality commercial and high-end residential solutions available.

One prominent company that supplies much of our audio equipment is Biamp Systems.
