A New Era of Home Lighting

LED lighting is more than a type of lightbulb. It’s a way to transform the mood of any room and uplift your home’s atmosphere. In addition, LED lighting saves energy and time and can be automated to follow your routine

Compared to incandescent and CFL lights, LED lights are unique, thanks to their automation and smart control capabilities. And you can make the most of LEDs with special lighting fixtures built purposefully with design and automation in mind.

It’s a new age of lighting, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce this new technology to homeowners in the Frisco, TX area. To learn more about a new lighting system for your home, contact Texadia Systems here

Why LED Lighting

Where do we begin? LED lights use approximately 90% less energy than incandescent bulbs and 50% less energy than fluorescent bulbs, with an average lifespan of up to 60,000 hours. By comparison, incandescent (the standard Edison bulb) lights only burn for an average of 1,500 hours.

Beyond energy efficiency, LED lights don’t experience the slow, gradual fade-on that CFLs (the spiral bulbs) do. And because LED light bulbs are semiconductor devices, they are compatible with control systems. Most regular lightbulbs can only be dimmed to about 30% brightness. But when you use smart LEDs like models by Ketra and DMF Lighting, you can dim the lights all the way down to one percent!

Tunable Colors & Brightness

LEDs’ capacity for smart control unlocks a world of possibilities. Through a control system like Lutron, you can group all your home’s lights into rooms and zones that are swiftly controlled via keypads, remotes, the Lutron app, or your own voice. Set your lights to a schedule so as the sun sets, your lights automatically dim and shift to a warm, amber hue, just to your liking.

Types of LED Light Fixtures

Brands like Ketra and DMF Lighting manufacture LED light fixtures specifically meant for intelligently-controlled LEDs. By getting creative with your fixture choices and lighting control, you can craft an ambiance that accentuates every room and time of day.

You can include the following LED light fixtures in your home:

  • Downlights, such as recessed lighting and track lighting
  • Linear light strips installed into ceiling coves, bookshelves, cabinets, ceilings and walls for striking lines of light
  • Lamps, including pendants, sconces, floor and table lamps
  • Chandeliers are unique, creative fixtures built to work with Ketra tunable LED lighting
  • Outdoor lighting fixtures can also be intelligently controlled with LED lights

Ready to see your Texas home like never before? LED light fixtures offer completely customizable light settings that transform how rooms and outdoor spaces look and feel.
