Today, platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet have harnessed the power of AI software to capture multiple video feeds simultaneously from multiple cameras. The AI software is astute enough to recognize specific people, optimizing the display by featuring their forward-facing video. When a participant speaks, their video square takes center stage, quickly transitioning to the next speaker. Live Translation Captions  

One groundbreaking innovation that deserves the spotlight is the introduction of live translation captions. Zoom, Teams, and Google now offer live translation captions during video calls. As participants speak, their words are instantly transformed into subtitles displayed below the video feed.

The number of languages available and capabilities is still developing. Microsoft Teams currently leads the way with an impressive array of languages, including Chinese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, Vietnamese, and more. 

Zoom closely follows, providing full support for nine languages, with 13 languages currently in Beta mode. For now, Zoom also offers nine additional languages with English translations only. Google Meet includes live translations in French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with additional languages currently developing in Beta, including Chinese, Turkish, and Vietnamese. 

Voice-to-Text Transcription

Artificial Intelligence, powered by Natural Language Processing (NLP), has paved the way for an innovative feature that simplifies meeting documentation.
