The current talk on LED display costs are still at the “it’s a little pricey” stage. But is it too expensive? The answer is No. Are you really weighing the pros and cons of this spectacular product? Have you been given all the information to make an informed decision? There are hard conversations that need to take place before you decide on digital display signage and technology.
Texadia had an opportunity last night to donate and take part in a spectacular event for the children at Focus on the Future School for Autism - http://focussped.com/. Texadia and other companies occupied multiple suites at the Embassy Suites Dallas near the Galleria. We decorated the door making it a fun way to “knock” and say “Trick or Treat”. The children were able to walk around the hotel knocking on doors and have a Halloween celebration in a safe environment. We had candy and stickers to pass out, plus a pumpkin and bat decorating station for the kids to create their own jack-o-lantern.
There were special guests; Rowdy, Dallas Cowboy Mascot, Higher Hopes balloon artist, David Rollins with the Seattle Mariners, Ty Washington with Daytona Tortugas plus additional games and activities.
Some of these children Trick-or-Treated for the first time in their lives. The children as well as the parents were so excited at the opportunity.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior. Parents usually notice signs in the first two years of their child's life. These signs often develop gradually, though some children with autism reach their developmental milestones at a normal pace and then regress.
Brenda M. Batts, Ph.D., Director for the school, was overwhelmed with joy. She, the teachers, and staff all dressed up with the kids and walked throughout the hotel together. You can see the proud dedication these amazing heroes have on the children’s lives. We can’t say enough about the school and what they are doing to help these children and their families literally “Focus on their Future”. Preparing the students and their parents for day-to-day real life events that we all take for granted as normal tasks.
Focus on the Future Training Center is an accredited and highly regarded private school in Plano, Texas for students, ages 3 to Grade 12, with Autism and other developmental disorders. They offer some of the best Autism early intervention in the country, as well as unique individualized curriculum featuring Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Music instruction.

When contractors are building a home, their job is to make sure everything is connected the way it should be. For example, they check to see that the plumbing and HVAC ductwork are done right so that the new owners are satisfied.
One thing that is often overlooked, though, is the audio and video system options as the house is being built. If seamless sound and video are important to you, the best time to incorporate those things into your home is when it’s being built or renovated.
Let’s face it, though, most of us live in a house that’s already built and aren’t planning to do a major gutting any time soon. So what type of whole-house AV system is right for you? Let’s look at some options.
Steve Burke, President of Texadia knows that the deliverable to our clients is essential and having a well-trained and oiled machine to execute our projects is vital to our success:
“As Director of Integration Services, Jesse Dominguez is a key addition for Texadia Systems as we scale our business and maintain our core goal of designing and installing exceptional AV Systems, providing remarkable customer service and exceeding our client’s expectations. Technology is constantly changing, so it can be difficult to keep up with all of the latest gadgets and gizmos available. In an effort to help you catch up, here are three of the top audiovisual trends this year that we’re most excited about:
Football season is upon us, which means millions of fans will funnel into 31 different NFL stadiums for the next several months.
For some fans, there’s nothing quiet like sitting on a hard bleacher, chugging their beverage of choice and cheering for their favorite team with thousands of other diehards. However, some NFL fans are looking for a more “plugged in” experience.
We are often asked to design state-of-the-art AV technology into a room, without negatively impacting the overall decor of the space. As a professional integration team, we have several "tricks of the trade" that allow us to hide cables, loudspeakers, TVs, etc. without affecting the performance of the gear. Today we are going to introduce you to one of our favorite trade secrets: Introducing, Leon Speakers [http://www.leonspeakers.com]
We are proud to announce that Texadia Systems is an official Control4® certified platinum dealer. Now we can combine our expertise in integration with top-notch products to make your life even more connected, efficient and secure!

Thank You Kramer for a great easy to use, easy to demo, and reliable real live demo for our client and their end users.
The best thing about collaborating with partner manufacturers and clients together is an opportunity to really showcase how products can work in the end users environment. We had a great experience with Andres Garcia at Kramer and one of our client partners. We had Kramer come in for ½ a day and allow all the end users to touch and experience the products live in their facility. The outcome was phenomenal. Every department had different questions, concerns, and uses for the VIA product. It could not have gone better and really showcased this incredible product throughout different business units.
We are pleased to welcome Chace Groves to our team. Chace will be taking on a CAD Operator role at Texadia. It’s a behind the scenes role that should be given a huge round of applause.

In today’s society, it’s important for classrooms to be connected to the online world in order for students to benefit from learning opportunities available outside of a textbook. Teachers also benefit greatly because they have endless resources at their fingertips.
Boardrooms can be one of the most difficult places to figure out in the area of lighting. These spaces are used for a wide variety of meetings and events, so the lighting has to be able to accommodate each of them should the need arise.
Whether you’re doing a high-tech presentation or brainstorming your next big project, the lighting needs to be right. If it’s not, it can be distracting and cut down on productivity. It can also leave a bad impression on a potential client or partner.
Whether you’re building a home and would like to include a media room or you’re thinking about remodeling an existing space, there are a lot of aspects to consider.
Media rooms are no longer just a place to sit back and watch TV. Nowadays, there are many other points of interest like gaming, surfing the internet, video chatting, and even connecting to your home’s security system to consider.
